RECOVERY TRUCKS

Mitsubishi offers its range of recovery trucks under the brand name of Mitsubishi Fuso. They have recovery trucks to cater to a wide range of requirements. These recovery trucks are in the medium to high duty range. They currently have three models with seven different Gross Vehicle Weight Ratings depending on the utility and requirement. The output power ranges from 145hp to 243hp. They come with manual as well as optional automatic transmissions. These trucks are available in Arcadia Silver, Jupiter Green, Mars Red, Shannon Blue and Natural White colors with blue and grey cloth interiors.

These recovery trucks come with programmable cruise control. The exhausts are vacuum actuated. They also have energy absorbing steering wheel. The steering wheels are ball nut type be fitted with hydraulic power booster. Mitsubishi trucks have maintenance free two 12-volt batteries of 799CCA each. Their tight turning radius helps it to be maneuvered more easily making it convenient to drive in difficult areas such as industrial premises etc. The trucks come with standardized air conditioning to make it comfortable for the driver. The Fe models are of low power. The FK range offers more power. The FM range has high tow capability.

FE comes in three variants – FE 125, FE 145 and FE 180 with corresponding GVWR of 12500lb., 14500lb. and 17995lb. respectively. These trucks can be used for fragile goods like glass as they come with racks that uphold the glass. These models have comfortable cabs making them amongst the best medium duty recovery trucks available in the market. Their cabs offer more space and comfort to the inmates. The driver’s seat is more adjustable. Plus there is ample space for accommodating accessories like cellphones, maps etc. The ABS and dual disc brakes add to the safety and reliability. They are befitted with halogen head lamps for improved visibility. The ladder style body makes it more convenient to mount. Mitsubishi has also pioneered in automatic speed transmission through the FE model range.

Mitsubishi Fuso’s FK Model comes with similar comfort and safety features as the FE model but has augmented GVWR. The FK200 has 19850lb. and the FK260 has 25995lb. it also comes with steering columns which can be easily adjusted. These models bear high torque turbocharged diesel engines with 5 speed automatic transmission. They are also available in a 6 speed manual transmission variant. More so, it has interiors made of recycled materials well suited to enhance the comfort and safety. They come with crush bars in the doors and daytime running lights for the extra mile in safety. They also come with power windows and door locks. The fuel tank capacity is 50 gallons. Spring brakes are installed on rear axle for extra safety.

FM 330 is a rugged model. Besides having all the safety and comfort features of the other recovery trucks, this model come with a best in the industry warranty of 5 years or 250,000 miles. It has 32900lb. GVWR. This model is designed in a way to offer a panoramic view.
