If you have just bought your 24 inch rims and tires, you must be very overwhelmed by now. You are about to experience a one of a kind driving which you have never experienced before. Your decision of shifting from the 20 inches to 24 is indeed a great decision. You can now drive efficiently and be more in control of the brakes. However, the process does not end upon purchase. You have to make sure that you are able to maintain the good condition of the parts.

First of all, you have to take a look at the placement of the wheel and rims. Make sure that they are tight enough. You might over speed sometimes, and loose connections might be extremely dangerous. It can either blow away any of these parts.

Another thing that you have to look into is dirt and dust. Of course, you are bringing your car everywhere. You are not always assured on the type of road that you might encounter. Thus, before and after driving long, you have to clean your car. Mud and other dirt in the rims might become obstacles in its efficient use.

Now, if you have made use of the rims and wheels for about 6 months to one year already, try to check it from time to time. Is it functioning well still? Is there any problem when you’ve lat used your car? Have you noticed something odd when driving the last time? You have to answer all these questions so that you will know if there is a problem with that part. If there is, you can have it repaired right away before it gets worse.

With all these safety measures that you employ to your rims, may it be black rims or any other kind of rims, its partnership with the wheels will definitely hold on for a long time.
